Privacy Policy

Weeding Pro is operated by Utah Landscape Maintenance LLC. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

Account information: your name, email address, company name, and password (stored only as a scrypt hash, never in plain text). Business data you enter: customers, estimates, rates, team production logs, add-on services, and commission records — all kept private to your workspace. Calendar connection data (only if you connect it): an encrypted Google refresh token and the connected account email, used solely to check free and busy times and to create events for accepted jobs. Technical data: session cookies that keep you signed in, and ordinary server logs used to keep the service running.

What we do not collect or store

We do not store card numbers or any other payment details — all payments are handled by Stripe, and Stripe's own privacy policy covers what it collects. We do not sell your data, and we do not share one company's workspace with any other company.

How your data is used

Only to provide the service: signing you in, saving and showing your estimates, computing your team's production rates, tracking payouts, sending estimate links you create, and booking accepted jobs to your connected calendar. We do not use your business data for advertising, and we do not train models on it.

Cookies

The app uses a session cookie to keep you signed in and a CSRF cookie that protects its forms from forgery. Both are set with SameSite=Lax, and the session cookie is HttpOnly. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Google Calendar access

When you connect Google Calendar, the app requests permission to read calendar availability and create events. It does not read the contents of unrelated events beyond what is needed to find free time, and it never creates events for estimates that have not been accepted. You can revoke access at any time in Settings or in your Google account permissions.

Retention and deletion

Your data stays in your workspace until you ask us to remove it. To request deletion of your account or workspace data, contact us using the business email address on file for your account. We will confirm once deletion is complete, except for records we must retain for tax, accounting, or legal reasons, which we keep only as long as required.

Security

Passwords are hashed with scrypt, session tokens are stored as hashes and sent as HttpOnly cookies, forms are protected against forgery, and calendar tokens are stored encrypted. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, change your password and tell your workspace owner immediately.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will note it on the site before the change takes effect.
